Limpopo Lodge
This reserve is located near Swartwater an covered with unspoiled woodlands and flat savannah of 4000 hectares next to the Limpopo River, opposite the famous Tuli Block in Botswana.

Tumuga Game Lodge - Swartwater:
Our luxurious lodge on the banks of the Limpopo River overlooks a hippo and crocodile pool. Special care is taken in ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay with us. All rooms are en-suite and have a rustic African ambience. Our lapa has a breathtaking view of the Limpopo River, where animals graze in the afternoon sun and quench their thirst before challenging the dark African night.
The lodge consists of six rooms of which four are en-suite. A fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, lapa and outside braai (barbecue) facilities are available. All rooms, the kitchen and dining room have ceiling fans.

- Room 1: Two single beds with en-suite shower and toilet;

- Room 3: Air-conditioned room with one king-size bed and one single bed OR three single beds, with en-suite shower and toilet;
- Room 4: Air-conditioned room with one king-size bed and one single bed OR three single beds, with en-suite shower and toilet;
- Room 5: Two single beds and sharing bathroom with bath (sharing with room 6);
- Room 6: Two single beds and sharing bathroom with bath (sharing with room 5)

- Small microwave, electric kettle, electric toaster, electric whisker and knive

Catering:
We offer self-catering accommodation to all tourists. A fully-equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge and freezer is available. Traditional cooking can be done on the open fire in the lapa.

Activities at Tumuga Lodge:
Enjoy fun-filled and relaxing activities, such as game drives, a sundowner cruise on the scenic Limpopo River or hiking through our beautiful reserves. Search for the very scares Three-Banded Courser and Ginger Fish Owl in the woodlands next to the Limpopo River. Listen for the call of the Fish Eagle, or watch water birds such as the Egyptian Goose and Yellow Billed Duck catching fresh fish from the river.
Relax around the small splash pool or for the more adventurous limited fishing like catfish, bream and yellow fish is available as well as mountain biking (please bring your own bicycles). Visit a nearby crocodile ranch, one of the biggest single-stem Baobab trees in the Southern Hemisphere or just chill out. The opportunities are endless!

Directions:
Cell phone signal is very limited in the area and at the lodge. Ensure that you are familiar with the road before your departure. Petrol is not available everywhere on a Sunday, so it is advisable to fill up your tank in either Mokopane or Lephalale, depending on the road you take.
